Benny's all better!

Original post (September 27):
So after a wonderful but tough month we are heading back home again. Bennett's heat rash still hasn't gotten any better and two days ago he started running a fever of 102. He is a bit bigger now but since the fever still hasn't ceased we have decided to take him home and to the doctor. He's still a smiley happy boy but a bit more fussy and cuddly so we are hoping it's nothing too serious. Still, we want to be on the safe side. We plan on staying in the states for a few weeks to give Bennett's skin the chance to heal the heat rash and give him a bit of a break from the heat. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel and please play for Bennet's fever to go away and stay away.
Just wanted to update that Bennett's all better! We took him to his doctor and found out he had a simple fever virus. We are glad we took him in because we feel it's better to be safe than sorry. Haiti has many tropical diseases that can be very serious (you should see me hunting the mosquitoes in our room, I don't mess around). His heat rash is all gone too ( loving this Fall weather to the max) and he is as happy as a clam. We've also had his nine month checkup and he's doing great! We plan on returning to Haiti soon. While we are here I am takin advantage of the great internet and working on the Wings of Hope website and on our blog. We apologize for not being more consistent with our blog posts, sometimes having to post retroactively , but internet is very limited where we are.
We miss daddy very much and are excited to reunite with him soon!
Please continue to pray for us. We appreciate your prayers so much. Haiti is not an easy place and we need all of God's rich grace. Please pray for John, that he stays safe, healthy and doesn't miss us too much while he's there alone. This year of so much time spent separated has not been easy for us. We can't wait to go back in less than two weeks!
